I cannot stand P1. I hate the exit moves out of the alcove. I hate the start. I hate the entire climb from bottom to top. So...I guess I need to keep trying to get the moves worked out. I lead P2.

It's polished, strange, hard to read, hard to get stances. I am sure that I am not stemming enough, but, man I hate this climb. I lead P2 (v) which was a lot of fun.

Not so easy for the grade, it gave me a good pump...

P1 is harder - good climb.

P1 is strenuous but interesting and fun! P2 is easy - maybe 5.7? not 5.9 like the book says.

Although my feet are terrible, this climb didn't bother them. It's kind of a brute force climb where foot work is important, but strength even more.

I actually did the first pitch years ago, but I did both pitches this time.

Wow, I haven't done this climb in a while. It was really polished coming out of the chimney. I found the moves out the chimney hard and sustained, after that the climb eases up significantly and is much more 9ish.

My first time following a 9. Hard and fun and used everything in my bag to scrape up it.
