Ascent Notes for: Socks On Chicks - 5.10c Average Rating : 3.38/5

Wasn't feeling too perky at this point in the day so I decided to go TR. One hung it at the crux, seemed tough for a 10c.

I onsighted this climb and felt it was a bit easier than 10c.

Route-finding is the challenge here, and just as pumpy as Blowing Smoke. I think many agree that this is a 5.10d.

This route was fun!... after you figure out the route

just as described. Pumpt for such a short route. Fun though.

I climbed it smoothly, no glitches, but it packs a load tougher than Star Belly Sneech, closer to Blowing Smoke. Reclimbed it TR to try to find easier moves; nope. Sent Blowing Smoke afterwords, spending about as much power and a little more pump as this needs. 10d.

This is not a hard route, it just is easy to get off route/sequence, plan your moves and watch your feet.

25 MAY 2008: tried to on-sight this after a few other climbs.
FYI - there's poison ivy on the far right side of the climb halfway up.

04 OCT 2008: Came back and hit the red-point on first try.
