4 out of 5 stars Back to the slab

First time back to climbing Joshua Tree slab in over four years. Kept having to remind myself how sticky it is, when I am stepping on what looks like nothing fifteen feet above my last bolt. Whipping wind did not help me feel secure. Still, I enjoyed this climb a lot. Used pro in the flake.

5 out of 5 stars Fun climb

This was a great warm-up for J-Tree. This was the 1st route I did there. It was a predecessor of things to come (runouts). Nice long one on this route, you have to trust your feet and the friction.

Great slab! First time climbing slab after the meadows, such an exhilarating experience-trust the friction!

4 out of 5 stars fun to second...

My friend led this as one of his first trad/mixed leads. I only seconded it, but I thought it would've been a pretty heady lead and harder than 5.6 (but then I think everything at Jtree is harder than it's rated)

4 out of 5 stars Heady Slab

Make sure you feel comfortable on slab before attempting this one. The last few bolts are spread out. The second to last bolt is tall. Reminds of me of slab in the SE.
