Ascent Notes for: Angel's Crest - 5.10b popular Average Rating : 4.78/5

Did it super hungover...brought a couple brews up to keep the buzz going. Did a nice 10+ finish instead of the 5.8 finish which was really nice!

P3 (5.10a Angel Crack) was my favourite pitch. P8 (5.10a) had some awkward moves that I nearly fell off of. P10 (Acrophobes Traverse) were quite exposed...obviously. P13 (5.10a steep crack) is the toughest pitch, IMHO - exposed with a difficult start while exhausted. P14 (5.8 Chimney) was quite exposed, stepping across an abyss.

Incredible is all I can say. Pretty much the most fun I've ever had climbing. The 5.10 pitches are beautiful, and the exposure is sometimes stunning.

Freaking Great climb. I thought the second to last pitch (10a) was the crux. Start the climb up the gully and climb the tree for extra points. Ackraphobes are awesome

Fun route. Not so much fun descending the north gully. Never, ever do that if you can help it.

My first climb in Canada... and a full-on day!
