This climb has a fun variety. It starts off with big, easy holds and then you climb up a nice crack. From there you can pull yourself up to the top of the "hammer." That's where it gets interesting. Not much for foot holds unless you use the crack at the right and lean into it.

Then you have to traverse to the left to finish the climb. I used a directional right before the traverse to keep climbers from swinging if they fell. There is a bolt right above the hammer.

Fun climb with some tricky moves. Starts off easy but a few spots felt harder than a 5.8.

Good holds and really easy access. First time lead climbing, and my belayers first time lead belaying, so kind of scary

Worth both a.clipping bolts at Broughtons and b.hanging around the hordes at Broughtons.

bolted section feels 5.9

Seems to me a bit harder than 5.8 in some places. Fun! I especially enjoy the finish.

Easy Top Rope setup, good warm up.

fun beginner climb

Easy top rope setup - can move right on over to The Sickle, no problem. Good climb, especially for an outdoor newbie like me.
