4 out of 5 stars Sweet lead!

Although "the business" of this climb is in the flared chimney, an awkward move or two off the deck gets your attention. Once in the corner, be prepared to knee bar, stem, butt scoot, whatever is in your bag of tricks. You'll use it all on this one. It's funner than it sounds, with good gear all the way. I used 1 #4 and doubles of #3's and #2's camalots. Could probably even use a third #2 but it's pretty easy to walk the gear if you don't have doubles and triples.

While you're there, be sure to do "Who Put the Purr in My Pussy", the interesting corner system 5.8 between the aretes on the left side of the ledge.

Both climbs share a rap station. 60m rope is plenty.
Approach: Heading towards Toxic Shock, take first faint trail on the right after passing the cave, hike up a few minutes up the gully as it wraps around the cliff base. As the trail steepens, watch on the left for two intersecting dead trees leaning against a shaggy, mossy "boulder". (This is the approach ledge to gain access to the climbs. Scramble up the dead trees to the belay ledge.) If the trail begins to veer right towards a wall on the right side of the gully, you just passed it!
