great route
wasn't sure if the route was supposed to go out to the left and then traverse right, or stay right, climbed it both ways. The holds are more positive than they appear.

Keith Smith and I established this route as a team effort. Back then we called it "slingshot style" rather than "redpointing"... When we fell, we lowered off, but left the rope through the high piece. Keith did most of the work. I led up the overhang 10-15' before falling and lowering. He did the rest... Hence the "Tandem"; we traversed right at the large horizontal weakness... Hence the "Slide".
