really good route

9-10-2011: Red-point.

9-4-2011: The high temps made the crimps super greasy. I definitely have to get back on this route and send it.

Technical Arete climbing, with hidden holds, tiny crimps, awkward balancey moves, and some serious high-steps.

amazingly cool route! get on it! redpoint on third attempt.

Thanks Terry. Blew the onsight trying to go straight up the tiny left facing dihedral at the bottom - ended up doing it that way 2nd go. Seems contrived to go around either left or right below the first bolt but the direct sequence is stout! Great route!!!

Great techy moves throughout. Love the moves at the top. Very sustained.

I was reluctant to lead it b/c I did not think I could make the reachy clip at the last bolt. But I have the sequence figured out now. Done!

I didn't see the hidden jug on the right arete, so I blew the onsight. really unique route, up beautiful features. rip, terry; I wish I'd gotten to climb with you more.
