Would be a great first sport lead for someone interested in something a little longer and more exposed than your average 50ft cliffside/roadside crag.

This was my first climb out side and was really motivated me to want to try to climb more outside. This was the classic route and is really not all that difficult to climb. A great beginner route.

Fun climb, much better rock than the choss on the headwall.

what a great thing to do after spending most of the day on a plane. Now if only it was not in the direct middle of Phoenix...

Make sure you bring a big locker for the huge eyebolt at the top.

A fun run up the Monk

Fun class 4 scramble to the route. Surprised at how sketch leading this route was. Not a hard climb but last two bolts are run out over a bit of a ledge. First climb in AZ. First outdoor climb for my wife on TR.
