wow, this one was really hard for me, hang dog on the crux even on top rope...
Still some very loose stuff in the upper part

fun little crack. Even practiced placing a cam in the crack and it held! Other people I climbed with thought it was harder than .10a, but who knows.

Very unusual climb for this area. Nice for a change.

Puffing Hunchback is a very interesting line. Overhanging face moves and undercling with an occasional jam in the finger crack. The bolts make sense as the crack is chossy and no one carries nuts or cams to Echo Cliffs. The climb was fun and pumpy, but the 2nd bolt hanger spins and needs to be tightened. Stick clipping the 2nd bolt seems warranted as a missed clip would result in a serious fall. Seems to have cleaned up well and a nice route on a hot day. No lines on this climb.

Nut holding the left anchor bolt is loose. Tightened it by hand but it will loosen up again soon I fear. Backed this bolt up with a sling to the bolt from the Gameboy route around the arete. Felt harder than 10a for the moves up to the second bolt. 9-10a from then on. Might have been b/c I was tired.

Very chossy route but should be getting cleaner as more traffic gets on it. I placed a quicklink and carabiner to allow lowering. It was a single open shut before...
