hard start right off the ground. I would call it 10a. Just for this move alone, the rest of the route is mellow.

Very difficult start, also my friend fell 3 times clipping the 4th bolt. It was our group's last route of the day.

Pretty difficult start - especially for the vertically challenged.

Bouldery start is harder than 5.9. A walk after that.

but it eases up.

stiff start. and probably slightly harder when it's hailing outside.

This is one of my favorite 5.9's at the Red. Opening moves are considerably more difficult than the rest of the climb and a high first bolt makes stick clipping tough.
