I don't understand why it hasn't been replaced. Unless it was a rurp; then place a bolt instead.

The fall will seriously injure someone. The belay wasn't the most awe inspiring.

Had a lot of fun on this climb. I started up P1 and got a little spooked. Manny lead the rest of the climb. P1 and P3 are great pitches. P2 has an unprotected start with a couple of moves before you can get in solid pro. Apparently there used to be a pin, now gone protecting the start. Worth the 25 minute uphill hike!

I wish I did this when I was a fledgling 5.8 climber! It's outstanding but would have been so satisfying to climb a route of this character when that was my limit. Led p. 1 & 3. The 4th pitch is the original finish to Fritz Weissner's Old Route.

Long freakin' uphill hike, cool location and the summit is excellent! 5.7+ - 5.8

Followed Jay, Brad also followed. We linked pitches 2 and 3. Doing p4 means the rap off is awkward, and the 4th pitch is not the same quality as the first 3. The new guidebook calls P1 a 5.7+, but we all thought p3 was harder. It is a bit pumpier. Well worth the modest approach.

Very cool climb...it was my first introduction to the Dacks.I would love to see my face once I came around the first corner on P3-very cool...
