5 out of 5 stars Fat Lady 5.13b

There seems to be much confusion around the correctly corresponding route and names of Fat Pig and When the Fat Lady Sings. My understanding is that Fat Pig is the low anchors and that When the Fat Lady Sings is, logically, the extension. Consensus these days seems to be 13a for Fat Pig and 13b for Fat Lady. The Fat Lady takes considerably more endurance to send than the one move wonder of Fat Pig. It is also a drastically superior route with the top section turning it into a full-value route with awesome exposure and super fun moves. The best at Shagg in my opinion.

5 out of 5 stars Route Description

Start up The Great Escape but go up and left after the second bolt. At the black rock stay left and make a couple of big reach on jugs up over the bulge. Try to get a poor rest on the small ledge before firing the overhanging crack to the lip.

4 out of 5 stars Route Description

First route left of Cell Block D and Two Shaved Heads. Big powerful moves up and slightly left lead to lip of the steep and then a rad move out right to a rail. Finish by searching for crimps up the long vertical face. Way cool and deserves to get climbed way more often.

4 out of 5 stars Route Description

Climb Two Shaved Heads to the third bolt and then break hard left with fun big reaches. A bit spicy going to the fourth bolt. Finish with a couple of big moves up the face above. Way more fun than Two Shaved Heads.
