Sometime in the late 90's early 2000 I did this route. I still hate it. The route's good--just not my likes. I don't really know why...but I just hate it.

Rubbin' my belly
Love this route so much. This year's ascent marks my first redpoint of the now longer than original (more bolts/climbing up top and 3 more feet lower start). Sweet route. Long and fun.
I think there are like 12 bolts on the route now. The whole route saw some extra bolts put in last year when the route was extended. Fun moves up top finish off this great route.

I think this line is so much better now. Although the original exit left to the pillar is so comforting. :)
I'm pretty sure it was 2000 when I put the line in, but I could be off a bit.
The rock is very solid for the entire route. You gotta love steep Deep Creek climbing!

Good fun!
Last year I bouldered the start and noticed the extra 3 feet of climbing makes this definitely harder.
I hopped on the route today and sent again. :)
It's been a long time since I've touched some of those holds. It's still a great route and I think it's a letter grade harder w/ the extra move(s) to start now.

Way fun route. Worden and I beat the loose choss out of the top 20 feet with a sledge. He should get the credit though for finishing the bolting that was long left undone by a former visionary.
Too bad the whole block of rock at the anchors got spewed out by the winter of '06-'07.
We'll have to get back up there and find a good and solid station for some new chains.

First trad lead
Too strong or stupid to know better. Just climbed and threw my pro into the crack. "cool lead!" Who knows how well the gear was placed. Neither of us prolly knew better. :)
