So Good!

Simon and I did a speed ascent on this route. did the 1st 3 pitches in about 30 mins. Practically ran up the 1st 2. Car to car in about an hour. Very fun and enjoyable climb.
Next time we're going for sub one hour.

this was a hard route. maybe cuz we did it after The Book, or maybe cuz we're weak, either way it felt harder than .9?

Best 5.6 ever?

Great climb! A classic. Everyone comes to the Gunx to do High E. I did it 7 years ago but got robbed of leading the money pitch cuz we were swinging leads. Went back this year and lead it ground up, I recommend everyone do it. My g/f followed it on her 2nd day of climbing ......ever, she rocks!

scary 5.6?

Maybe I did it wrong, or was just plain old stupid that day, but I only had 2 pcs for the entire 2nd pitch. I had crazy run out and faced a definite factor 2 fall, going past my belayer (thanx Brett for not killing me) if I peeled. I didnt find any placements at all. Thankfully it all went smooth and nobody was hurt, mainly me.

Big Bag of sh!t

This climb sucked, im sure it would be good if there wasnt 200 ppl rappeling down on top of your head, or climbing up your ass, all to the same 2 bolt anchor. the etiquette at the Gunx has been rapidly declining every year. We were a party of 3 at the anchor and had 6 other idiots trying to cram onto the same 2 foot ledge. dont waste your time on this route unless your there during the week
