superb
climbed this after the others and it was well worth it. easy start and the ropes run pretty clean from the anchor on top of the pillar. I top-roped this too by rapelling in off the large well established tree on the cliff top. bit of a scramble over the gully to gain the relatively new anchors (reported as 2011).
climbed up to the first main ledge and onto the corner following a fun crack. Bit more exposure on this which only improved the experience! Lovely spot. Will be back for certain.

Great Fun!
Climbed this off a top rope. The crack on the pillar was exquisite, my fav climbing here. One rather tricky move near the top of the pillar. Great rock and other than the cobwebs great fun! The 'leap of faith' is just that. A small finger pocket just above the bolt now in place. There is a good anchor in place above and slightly right of this line...don't use the anchor above the chimney.

Short and Satisfying
Have camped in Ellison for many years but never have climbed any of these routes. Found an update online that indicates several new routes. This one now has a bolted anchor for top-roping. Although one definately needs to tie off from the big tree above in order to access the anchors for top roping (or just lead it which would be much easier).
I didn't get any kids onto this one but they tried a couple other routes, notably the 5.6 chimeny next door to this route.
the chimney next door was very satisfying and we had 3 young kids (all 10 or well under) top out either on first or second tries. Good anchors above for top roping the chimney too. But again, I rapelled to the anchor to set the top rope itself.
A short but satisfying effort on both.
