Set up Top rope on Somkey Smith
After climbing "rangers to the north" scrambled on top of matinee wall set up toperope using anchors of Smokey Smith. Climbed the obvious crack...it waS FUN..first climb in sort of a crack/chimney.

Rangers of the North
Lead 6 routes this day of 5.6 rating. Feeling accomplished, yet still realize these are easy routes. Nonetheless this was a fun route with a top out on to a small littel arete, maybe 50 feet of the deck. From here you can scramble down the wall and set up a few topropes of harder routes furhter down the wall...which we did (Walking the Hills).

Rhythm on the Range
Fun...hardest of all three on this wall. Very easy none the less. Can be accomplished by most begining climber (like me). More feet than two routes to its left.

Rootin' Tootin' Rhythm
This wall has three easy beging climbs. Sort of so you can feel out the rating system. Difference between this and Fiddlin Buckaroo...this one makes you use your feet. Still very easy but rewarding accomplishment for anew climber. Easy to set up top rope at anchor station to do many diffent climbs on this wall.

Fiddlin' Buckaroo
I am new to climbing, exposure, etc. I may not climb this without a rope...remember I have been climbing amonth. This is an area that is good for people who have never climbed to try it out. Just to the right of this route are two more climbs to give a shot at. VERY G-rated.

Eye for an Eye (5.6 version)
Very new to climbing. Lead this route to the first anchor, didnt go past not ready for multi pitch yet. Route is fun, for a beginer it makes you use your feet, kept you nervous on the lead, but very safe feeling on toprope. There are some very hollow sounding loose flakes about half way up if you follow bolts all the way you will run intot them. About 3/4 of the way to first anchors, I traversed right around them.
