4 out of 5 stars interesting route

Stayed too long in the center and was stuck twice, moving left to salvage the climb. Bumped head three times, too, with no overhangs. Big grips and good footing for most of it, and enough of it to complete.

4 out of 5 stars Not clean, but done.

Took some repeats on the start, and some restarts on the way, but all moves were done, way beyond previous expectations.

4 out of 5 stars Well, sort of....

Did unclip all the bolts with no hangs, but dodged right to reach the third bolt before following the standard line from there.

4 out of 5 stars Dream come true.

It took being shown the starting move, which to me is the hardest part, and a lot of training for a long time, and today was the day. Maybe this line will get its own anchors.

3 out of 5 stars Good route.

Did not completely complete, the top crack doesn't finish for me; but getting there was quite fun, as it looks from the ground. We stayed on the straight-up line with no use of the wall at the left. Variations to left, much harder to the right. Belay can be off the trail, so will be recommended. We rigged from both pine trees to go over the straight edge.

5 out of 5 stars "Have you ever climbed at Moore's Wall?"

Yes, twice, today to retrieve the gear we left yesterday, and today topping out. He placed gear in lots of places, that being the only point. And we did it in the foot-wear we hiked up in. There is an anchor station atop the first pitch, a nearly level place for the second station. Big news is that the trail along the ridge leads left to a good descent gully. We started climbing at 6pm, were back at the cars at 7:40pm.

4 out of 5 stars He made me do it.

Woody assured me that I could pull the start the way he did, and the rest would not be so difficult. Well, I did not quite get his start, but did get one. After that, the right line is super fun imo. Finishing under the anchors is not difficult, so hanging the rope on the normal side is cool.

4 out of 5 stars Pulled it, finally.

First try was with a match-hand on the pointy chunk, as others have done. For me, the left reach was too far. Ben and Clinton showed me a small side pull with the left hand to better balance for the left reach, and a high right foot smear. Oh yeah. After that, big grips for big pulls over the angle and done. The back-sloped right face is more interesting than the rest of the crack.

3 out of 5 stars Well, almost.

Terrifying start for a terrifying rappel: will never do that again! Start and traverse is not imo easier than for 'Secretary'. The small dihedral area is good almost to the triangle overhang. I did not cross under to the 'Secretary' line to top, and did not get far on the overhangs to the right either.

4 out of 5 stars Not a "spinner".

Yes, the right anchor hanger is able to turn on the bolt, but only about 30 degrees. There is nothing to tighten, and nothing is at all dangerous about the anchoring there. Climb on.
