we did it clean/fixed in 2 days of 20 hours per day. my partner bill didn't sleep the night before because we left LA around 10pm. first el cap route. wooohooooooo!!!!! it was great to see kate and melissa on the final two pitches too.

I actually went for the finger slot to the right of the bolt at the bottom. Much better than the pinch higher up. The traverse was scary especially since I had to take my belay device off, then the belay biner since they were scraping on the rock.

Onsight baby!! It was a good climb. Belay is #3 camalot and TCU's. Then continue up corner to top of formation on a huge ledge. I just stayed calm and climbed from rest to rest.
