3 out of 5 stars Ok Route

Not sure why this gets three stars. I had to get my belayer to keep looking in the guide book to help me figure it out. The ascent line is straight in the book, but I was wandering to the right, then left, then right near the top. I thought I did the route incorrectly since it is sandwiched between two others, but after reading the description, I think I did climb it correctly. There were no anchors directly above the top out (assuming I topped out in the right spot). The actual route is ok, but there are many others that are better.

5 out of 5 stars Way betther that Castleton

I thought this was a great climb. The 5.7 chimney is very mental (easy, but make sure you bring large nuts for it). I got the crux move second go, but the final pitch is the best part (very exposed).

5 out of 5 stars My first tower climb

Don't really remember it being too hard as suggested below, except for the final pitch where I was thrashing around trying to get to the summit (5.7!) so maybe it was kind of hard.

5 out of 5 stars Sweeet!

I used the Exum Guide shoes on the route (which I bought before I came out to WY) thinking they were made for it. Well, they suprisingly worked great and I never had to put the rock shoes on. Car to car in 15 hours. Went down the wrong gully on descent. Stay to skiers right.

5 out of 5 stars Great route

Climbed in early March and had to hike in from the interstate. It was well worth it. Had one sketchy traverse around left side of ridge near the summit, but my partner nor I ever got out the rope. Tagged Grey's while we were up there all by ourselves.

5 out of 5 stars South Face (5.8 C2)

Great route, very remote feeling compared to other valley climbs. Rock quality was good for the most part, but somewhat poor when compared to El Cap and other valley walls. Last 5-6 pitches are excellent and I recommend doing the route just to climb these pitches. If you can lead 5.10+, this route will be a lot more fun because there are not many pitches harder than that. My partner pulled off a microwave sized rock three pitches above the Sheraton Watkins bivi which rolled off his leg. He had to jumar the rest of the climb, but was ok. Two days should be plenty of time for most parties and fit parties could probably do it in a day without too much trouble.

Probably the best route I've ever done. Every pitch is memorable except for the first one. Great gear until the very end, but the spicy finish makes the route even better.

5 out of 5 stars West Ridge

Stunning mountain that I just noticed on a road trip a decided I had to climb. Very dissappointed with the $10 fee I had to pay back in 2004 just to park.

Excellent route. First pitch was polished so I thought it was a little harder than 5.8 Felt like I was climbing in the Bugaboos

5 out of 5 stars Kraus-McCarthy

Super fun route, didn't have a topo, but the route seemed obvious with a few possible minor variations. A great way to tag this summit fast. Climbed in the afternoon so there were two parties rappelling the route but didn't really cause us any problems.
