Must do.

We woke up at 5:45 to hit Triple S at 7:30. I recommend you do the same for Ecstasy. Either that or do it at the end of the day, but make sure to take headlamps if you do - we topped out after sunset. An amazing route that made me come alive. There's nothing quite like a hanging belay 100 ft off the deck and a partner pulling big moves to remind you why you got into climbing in the first place! This is a route worth travelling 10 hours for. Not even joking.

Chalk up and go.

Top roped this one, and I don't mind it. Holds can be slick, so fill up your bag before you go. Stem as much as you can and make sure to look up for your holds - the best ones always seemed to be a foot above my head.

Oh. Yes.

Took a break after Triple S to get our heads straight and pulled up Gunsight to South. Beautiful rock, great views, and a great place to test your head if you're getting into trad!

Due to the setting sun we didn't get to hit P3 and rapped from the bolts. Fully dark by the time our last member touched ground.

Fun on the bulge

P1 was something of a scramble, but P2 makes it all worth it. There is enough stuck gear on P1 that it was kinda like sport climbing, but the large bulge on the face of P2 makes you stop and think. Great climb, holds, views and exposure. Keep your head straight and have fun!

First trad climb - seconding

Fantastic views, good pro, and a great introduction to trad climbing for me! The approach was the hardest part with 6in of snow and ice on the ground and rap stations.
