Climbed the route and thought the rock quality was fine.

The rock was a little loose in places, maybe a bit grainy in others due to low traffic. But all in all is a fine substitute to the bolt ladder sinocranium. The routes more to the north on the west face have better rock with great gear belays. The west face of steinfells would be awesome if it ever got the traffic.

a warm spring allowed some great climbing weather at the city!

on sight solo of the route and rappelled off the back side from some anchors to a route on the backside.

New anchors have been put in.

All pitch anchors have been retrobolted as well as the rappell anchors below the duck. Fun route, my first Tower route and i got to lead the crux pitches and had a blast. The pin scars a few moves into pitch 3 are getting really blown out. Take some larger tri-cams or be prepared to stack angle irons.

great route

Simulclimbed the route with a 30 meter rope. Worked out well with great weather on the summit. Not much gear is needed for the route. There is a lot of pitons and fixed gear along the way.
