4 out of 5 stars Great Route

I skipped the 5.11 bolt latter on the last 30 feet, but fun route nonetheless, and great views.

5 out of 5 stars Great Route

It's not a very long route before you get to easy 5th/4th class stuff at the top. Great route though, lots of fun. Two pitches in the dihedral feel pretty sustained.

4 out of 5 stars Awesome Summit

I'm a little late adding this ascent, but what an awesome peak it was. Climbed with Marc and Mike, they took the crux pitches, I sent the toaster [down]! Absolutely beautiful summit, and helluva adventure!

5 out of 5 stars Another successful Orizaba summit

Wow, don't underestimate the altitude! We spent one day acclimating at the hut (14k feet) and were very humbled by the thin air, (coming from sea level)! Awesome experience, great views, and nice people around. Never used any pro, just crampons and axe. Be careful of those 4 inch crevasses, they could swallow your cliff bars whole!

3 out of 5 stars Must like bushwacking

A remote crag, with an approach that redefines suck. However, The Sultan was a very clean route with a couple of challenging moves. Great options for pro down low (crux), gotta run a little longer up high thru the 5.8.
