5 out of 5 stars Simply amazing

A lot easier then I thought it would be. Even the aid moves I think could have been freed in the mid tens max, but I was trying to stay ahead of the weather so yarded on the bolts. You don't need much gear at all, long second pitch is really quite easy and secure.

5 out of 5 stars Best lead of my Life

Led this with three number 3 camalots, needless to say I bumped them up a couple of times, but not too bad. You can take active rest on lead relatively easily up top.

4 out of 5 stars Great thin hands corner

A little small for my liking but perfect corner. Took a couple of takes on lead, jams were definetly thin in places.

4 out of 5 stars Narly route

Super stiff 5.9! Great jamming but had to hang on gear and leap frog some gear as well with smaller rack. Pretty thin crack for most of it. Make sure you have a couple of .5 camalots, it sucks without enough. At least doubles of everything from .3 to 3 camalots

4 out of 5 stars Fun and long

A great climb to get into a little offwidth for a newbie with plenty of meat and potatoe jamming as well. Bring plenty of # 3 to #5 Camalots, I had to leap frog gear. Great clean route

4 out of 5 stars Fun jamming

A great short route which is easily protected. Not sure why it is called a wide crack my biggest piece was a number 3 camalot. Great first crack lead for friend.

4 out of 5 stars Introduction to the Creek

This crack offers great hand jams for 25 feet. Perfect if you have a small rack and little stamina for the 100 foot lines. You can work the crack several times. Park at unmarked campground a little over mile from Newspaper rock, on left, and walk back up road 400 yards. Pretty obvious. On bend of road in trees.

5 out of 5 stars Great line

Mostly Camalot # 3 size crack. Short for the creek and on superb rock. Great intro to the Creek. If I am thinking of same crack it is more like 3 miles from Newspaper Rock and you park on right side of road before cattleguard. The route is back up stream about 200 yards.
