5 out of 5 stars A great route

We had trouble at first figuring out the route above Bellygood Ledge. The guide book appears to describe what might be, or what might have been the route. During our ascent, we could not locate any of the “project” pitches except for some bolts without h angers in the general direction of the routes after Traverse of the Gods.

Anyhow, it’s an excellent route.

PS: The Bellygood trail to Bellygood ledge transition is extremely exposed and scary. We did this tied in, if you read the section under Millennium Falcon I believe it recommends doing it this way. I even used some long slights to protect the traverse using roots.

4 out of 5 stars Nice Climb

I'm short and have to use the tree to get around the bulge half way up. I'll keep at it, but I cannot currently make the throw to get over the bulge.

2 out of 5 stars A few falls

I put two cams in the crack between the first and second bolt. I'm pretty happy I did this, because I fell a few times trying to make the second bolt. Unfortunatly I bent both cams after falling on them. I guess a nut would have been a better choice.

I still put a cam in the crack, but i never fall on that spot anymore.
