4 out of 5 stars The most memorable Taylor's Falls route

If you started learning how to climb at Taylors, this is probably the route you started on. This was my first route when I was 14 years old. It was also the same route someone peed on me because a super tiny roof at the top of the "book" blocked me from their view. At first I thought it was a refreshing drizzle from the clouds.

4 out of 5 stars Short and sweet

Have to hike up about 30 feet to the base. This route offers a very short finger crack over a small roof and for those interested in finger-crack routes, this would be a fun route. The only problem with this route is its shortness. Just when it's starting to get really fun, the climb is over.

4 out of 5 stars Very fun

This is a very fun 5.7 and a must for beginning climbers in the area. If you want to set up a line, get to the park early in the day or go during the week days. This route is one of the first to be taken.

5 out of 5 stars Best climb in the area

This is by far the best route in the park. It offers excellent pro for those looking to learn basic placement and is easy to TR. I would often run laps on this route and never grew tired of it.

0 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

Really, really, really fun route. From hollow sounding bong pitons to precarious "fixed" (i.e., loose) pitons, it is trad to the core.

I don't know if this loose bolder is still there, but be aware that this large boulder is waiting for a climber to pull it down on his/her belayer's head.

Favorite moment was on an arete section of the climb and an eagle flew by. Could hear the hissing in its wings.
