4 out of 5 stars Stellar climb, bold lead

Great climb! Short but sweet with tenuous moves and tricky gear through the crux. Gear is solid... If you can find it! Poor second got the sudden burst of rain cleaning my gear...

4 out of 5 stars Great fun!

It certainly has everything, but is the ultimate of nothing.
Having said that, this is a supremely enjoyable day out. I love the variety. Well bolted face climbing with some stellar cracks mixed in. Protection is great, belays are all super cozy. No lack of lunch ledges.

Combine with Rock On for an amazing day of moderate climbing in a spectacular setting.

4 out of 5 stars Incredible

We climbed the NW Ridge in an alpine style daytrip from Victoria. It took us 23 hours including the driving and a nice linger at the top for some summit photos.

The route was nice and well protected with the odd runout here and there on quality rock. Third pitch had some lovely exposure!

The snow started as we emerged from the trees and it made the approach/descent much nicer/faster.

Highly Recommended. Amazing views!

3 out of 5 stars Dirty!

I should have brought my gardening gloves! But never the less, was a fun climb. The rock that was clean was great!

4 out of 5 stars Full Body Workout!

Supremely enjoyable thrutchfest through hyper abrasive rock and prickly vines. Fantastic pro, a rarity on vancouver island.

5 out of 5 stars Unbelieveably Awesome!

Absolutely stunning! Glorious rock.
The second to last pitch is unreal, and the Acrophobes will blow your mind! Just go... go climb this route!

Took us 10 hrs. We doddled a bit.

5 out of 5 stars Fantastically Fun Route

I think this may be my favourite route at Horne thus far. Super fun moves to a powerful crux sequence. Excellent rests if you can worm your way into the holes...

5 out of 5 stars Best Route at Wells

Awesome Route! Tricky exposed start leads to a sketchy pendulum if you fall. Rock is bomber, pro is great, crux is sufficiently tricky. Exposure is fantastic. Safty is bomber. Pure Awesomeness. A South Island Classic!
