5 out of 5 stars Simul-climb!

My first simul-climb and I led it all! Unfortunately I didn't sign the summit register.

4 out of 5 stars I did it in four pitches.

Lots of wind so I split the last pitch. Easy to get off route.

2 out of 5 stars Fun and crumbly.

More lichen than rock. Plenty of bolts, watch out for popping holds.

3 out of 5 stars Good

Lots of bolts, and rock that sounds hollow when tapped (eek!).

5 out of 5 stars My new favorite climb.

All 5 pitches are great. There are plenty of bolts. The last pitch has two sets of anchors: one at the top of the climb, one about 6 feet back from the edge. There is a good descent down to the Misery Ridge trail via a 30 foot 4th class scramble after you leave the top of the climb and approach the other side of the formation.

4 out of 5 stars Bolted for the economic climber.

Few bolts spaced far apart. I did not read the guidebook about needing two ropes for a rappel. I got lowered and had to walk my belayer through a belay escape to tie on another rope to finish the lower. You can place a nut or hex at the bottom of the climb to protect getting to the first bolt. Also, a cam in the belay platform gives the belayer some security from walking backwards off the platform. Consistent 5.7.

4 out of 5 stars Follow chalk and bolts.

The climb gets harder when climbing to the left side of the bolts....so climb on the right side. Keep a few directional draws in if you top rope this climb.

Good wall altogether. The approach from up the canyon is fun and adventurous, with ample shade.
