5 out of 5 stars Beautiful and fun

Can be done in three pitches... Making two pitch, the second pitch is long. Classic and very popular, so long lines. The first pitch is 5.4, short. Exposed and pumpy after the first pitch. Highly recommend.

5 out of 5 stars Busy climb

This is a great beginner's climb with lots of exposure when you have to step around the corner. Fun.

5 out of 5 stars Cannot be missed

One of the most classic and beautiful climbs at the Gunks and EASY. Climb to the tree for a first short pitch, because the next pitch is a traverse to the left and up and around the bulge. I ran this whole pitch out, DON'T DO THAT. The third pitch is the money pitch... Super fun and chuncky stuff all over, and bomber placements, there are three/four pins on the third/last pitch

3 out of 5 stars Newbie struggle

The first time I climbed it, I was afraid of the climb and climbed the chimney instead of straight up, not the way to do it.

5 out of 5 stars Classic climb, like a run-out sports climb

Pins at almost every crucial spot. Can be done in one pitch. Depending if your second is a newbie or not. When I first followed it, I wanted the rope to be taut but it was impossible to go under the roof while the leader was pulling, and the leader didn't want the follower to swing outwards if fallen (then the follower will have to be lowered and climb from the ground). In this case, this climb is better done in two pitches, anchored at pin on top of roof.

Long traverse on the first pitch... not much hands, just lean in and suffer toe pain
