Look Ma, no feet!
IMO, the beginning of this climb was the worst part, with very little feet and crappy hands. Just a move or two up, though, it becomes much more fun, and totally worth the fight.

What crack climbing should be...
...and by that, I mean long, easy and shaded! LOL! Seriously, though, this is a great climb, especially if you can recognize (and use) the plentiful face holds. Not that you'll need them often, but a couple are quite helpful.
Oh, and the descent sucks. No rap bolts, as advertised, and the walk down completely blows when your feet are sore. As mine always are. :-)

Very nice warm-up
Great slab, perfect way to get used to the granite. Absolutely beautiful rock, very sturdy. Builds confidence on feetwork. Just don't stop too long and let your mind wander, else your imagination takes over. LOL

Note to self: Correctly fitted shoes very important on slab.
Fun climb all around...even more fun with the right shoes. Mainly just used as a way to get to Cave Crack, though.

Still too wet
The rain let up long enough to scramble up, but the crack was still a bit too damp to fully enjoy the climb.

Chalk up!
Awesome climb, lots of fun...beautiful climbing all the way up, lots to think about. One word of advice, though--those great big holds on top are both great and big, but slippery, too. Chalk up at your last rest before the roof and you'll be fine.
(Last bolt before the chains is pretty useless, we placed some pro in the small crack instead...)
