4 out of 5 stars fun crux

if only the crux of this line were 30 ft!!! some really thin but FUN moves for only about 5 ft. climbed this towards the end of last season and the bolt and hanger were there. someone must have replaced it. The beginning is kind of pumpy. got it second try.

3 out of 5 stars heady lead

i climbed this last season with out a stick clip or pad. it's not for the meek leader. there is a point where the route runs out at least 15 ft where a fall could mean decking.

4 out of 5 stars first bolt

spins and was a good half inch out from the face last time i climbed this route. best not to fall before clipping bolt#2. also there is a bit of a run out mid way through. which can be sketchy for someone just breaking into the grade. all in all though,
this climb is pretty epic. Smooth movement, techy-face, sustained and slightly overhanging. if it were like twice as long and still sustained, it would probably be my favorite point of the season.

3 out of 5 stars had to jump

off while trying to to clip the last bolt before topping out. too pumped to hold on one handed. got it the third try. old book rates it 11d, new one: 11b/c. mtn project sets it at 11b and i have to agree with that one after recently going back to the area and jumping on again. the key is to just keep going until you reach the jugs. forget about your stupid feet there aren't any, just pull.
