4 out of 5 stars New rappel anchor lets you do this with only 1 rope!

I placed a rappel anchor behind the block, half-way up. You can now do this fun route with just 1 rope but make sure it is a full 60M rope or else you'll run out of rope just before getting to the anchors. This is a FULL 60M pitch!

4 out of 5 stars Cool climbing on an arete!

This route should have another bolt up high on the arete. There is a possibility of a HUGE fall off the final moves. they're only 5.8 or so but you could die if something happens.

The crux has a tricky move that is easier if you're tall.

3 out of 5 stars Burly fists to 4-1/2" fun

I was able to get fists most of the way. You have to go deep to find them. I also found that keeping the left hand with the palm facing you seemed to help alot. There's a cool knob out right half way up that helps greatly. The topout was a bit grainy & flared. I rarely ever tape up but I did for this & was glad I did.

3 out of 5 stars Short but fun. Maybe 50' in length.

There is a funky section on the arete up high getting to the "hooks". The route ends here although it could have gone to the top of the formation.

4 out of 5 stars Thin climbing on great rock

This is much harder than it looks. It may be 5.11d or 5.12a.

It is easy to toprope it by scrambling around the gully to the right.

4 out of 5 stars Short but fun!

You need a small wired nut to get to the 1st bolt.

4 out of 5 stars another fun Knob job!

The start seemed height dependent. Shorter climbers may think it's harder than graded but I think it's fair at 5.10d. Fun knobs on steep terrain.

4 out of 5 stars One of the softest 12a's in Yosemite.

I've done this route at least twice, and I swear it's only 5.11 something. You gotta trust your feet low. The upper face is fun & pretty cruiser on steep knobs.

4 out of 5 stars a great route!

This is a fun adventure up an arete to slick liebacking up a corner to wild moves out to the undercling roof. Bring some 1 to 2" gear for this part. Above the roof. steep knobs lead past more bolts to the anchors.
