4 out of 5 stars A fun climb with some atypical moves..

The crux is coming over an overhang onto a ledge, and requires some muscle and an elbow jam to pull it off. I've seen some recent guides rate it a low 5.10, but I am not too sure about that.

3 out of 5 stars SW Couloir Middle Teton

Class three scramble to the top of a nice summit. We camped at the Platforms, and it is still a pretty long day. Even in early July it was pretty snowy up there, and we used ice axes and crampons. The summit and the couloir leading to it had relatively little snow (more snow in the couloir would have made it easier..) and most snow was on the approach slopes. I don't know why they have it as a 5.3. It is pretty much Class 3 all the way.

4 out of 5 stars Keyhole Route - Long's Peak

We camped at the boulderfield below the Keyhole and ascended the next morning. I'd recommend that over starting a hike / climb at 1 am from the parking lot. We were the first to the summit that morning, and had a leisurely walk out. Very nice. You'll need a permit to overnight.
