2 out of 5 stars bailed

Bailed from the lead, not wanting to risk a fall onto the boulder from the moves getting into the crack. On TR, I discovered that they weren't bad after all, but better to bail than to be broken. Cruised on TR.

Did the start statically each time with a low right foot on the face, then a high step to the big slopey foot.

3 out of 5 stars Heady

Especially heady getting to the third bolt when you don't see it and head straight for the fourth bolt! Oops...

3 out of 5 stars Solid lead!

5.10c is probably more realistic. The move past the first bolt is not easy, and the moves beyond don't ease significantly. More sustained, I think, than Forbidden Paradise and definitely more run-out. This route is given an "R" rating in some guidebooks.

2 out of 5 stars Worth a run up...

If you're in the area and waiting for Gargoyle, this is a good, well-protected alternative.

Finally repeated this thing without injuring myself. Great problem!

3 out of 5 stars Fun line...

Easy for the 10a rating... perhaps 5.9. Fun climbing with solid jams and jugs, then a little "it ain't over 'til it's over" slab at the top.

3 out of 5 stars One hang...

One hang at the crux move to the horizontal about 20' from the anchors. Great line that would be a fun lead with another bolt or two. Soft for the 11b grade given in the guide.

4 out of 5 stars Mariah

First lead attempt... TR'd a couple of years ago. A little burly and a lot awkward, but a Mission Gorge classic.

2 out of 5 stars The Trauma

Probably a little harder than 5.6 if you stay right of the second flake/block.

2 out of 5 stars Judas

Stout! Felt 10c/d to me. Easier if your taller or have really small hands. I don't fit either of those descriptions. After a dozen or so tries at the start, I pulled through the crux start and cruised the rest of the route.
