5 year old Climber on the new overhang for the backyard climbing wall

5 year old Climber on the new overhang for the backyard climbing wall (view)

I added an overhang to our existing rock wall. The wall was 8 feet high before. Now it extends out at a 45 degree angle after 8 feet. It is almost 12 feet high at its max now. It got dark before I could put the holds on the overhang. However, I was able to get this video of the new crawl through that let's the kids still use the slide on the other side.

Hey I know you! I've seen you at the TRC a few times... thought you looked familiar. I'm usually there around lunch time.

Your kid can really climb!

Yes that is me. I climb there every other day at lunch.
Thanks for the kind words about my son’s climbing. He really loves to climb and he puts every ounce of energy into it.
We had all of the kids in our neighborhood over this week to try out the new overhang. It was a lot of fun. Except 6 kids between the ages of 4 and 8 can be a handful to keep up with. At least, we have the climbing wall to give the kids a good outlet for their energy.
See you at TRC sometime.
