Old fart (me) chickening out of a highball, it is a very bad landing if you miss the pad. I did it on toprope once but I was climbing alone this day and just couldn't risk it. I have heard climbing could be dangerous. See my other post if you wish to find this great little wall just north of the Pecos.

The video isn't all that great... but props for being and old fart and still climbing. I hope to be just like you someday, although not filming myself and with a little more hair. Cheers!
Yes, I know to is a crappy video sorry to all who burned their retinas. This is not supposed to be about me or filming. My intentions are getting others climbing at this little crag I found. Maybe someday I will treat the world with a wonderfully done video full of muti camera shots, great editing and some rocking tune in the back ground... maybe. I just love climbing alway have and always will. ROCK ON EVERYONE!

how far is this spot from Santa Fe?
As the crow flies it is 10 miles east of Santa Fe but to drive, it is 30 miles / 40 minutes. Drive north out of Pecos and turn west on the first road after mile marker 12 into Dalton Canyon (it was a Dalton gang hideout) drive up the mts road 1.5 miles. There are very basic camping spots very near the cliff.
