That was cool until all the jesus stuff. cragginitup, that was hilarious, unless you were serious; in that case... it's still hilarious!

Your god is dead.
Take your religious propoganda and lies and go back to your own web sites.

Wo wo wo.... dont start bitching... Even tough i dont "approve" the religious part at the end, i can respect the fact that the man believe in something and that is fine... I dont think being christian, boudist, mormon, or whatever really changes anything, you are still the same person, the thing i dislike is being trying to "prove" to you that they are in something better than you... Look, i dont believe in nothing spiritual, i believe in the pursuit of hapiness and peace, and i acheive it by doing things good to others and myself... in fact, im pretty sure i follow some of the main guideline of many religion without having to "imagine" or "believe" in a superior being.... and heck, believe what you think is good, nobody and I MEAN NOBODY on earth has the total thruth and if you think you have it, well then good for you!

And the people being rude with the guy, you are just dumbasses because this is a grwat vid, and it proves some great determination in climbing... you are not better than what you say....

So, i hope i made myself clear, just dont try to get me into something even if you think its the greatest thing on earth, we dont all believe in the same things exept that climbing is awesome...

OK? peace

Great vid until the end when the real reason for the vid became quite clear. Nothing against Christians, but this seems like a form of advertisement to me which I believe there are rules against on this site (or at least there should be).

I may not hold his same beliefs--but it was interesting to hear what makes Doug "tick."

I thought RC.com was about Rock Climbing, hence the title Rockclimbing.com, I saw this vid and it makes me wonder why people think it is ok to put there religion out there specially Christian religion on this site, can you imagine if I put up a vid praising Satain and how he, she, it, helped me get up a rock face. OMG that would send everyone crazy. So please I ask you RC.com stop the maddness. It's ok to spew there religion, but on the proper sites, just not here please. Over all the climbing part which was little of, excited me, I love IC. see ya out there

I request that the mods give some thought into whether this video belongs on RC.com. If reps from Black Diamond started threads about why Camelots are superior to Aliens on RC.com, there is no doubt it would be deleted at once (as it should be). Advertising for a religious group on RC.com is no different.

This vid was quite bothersome to me. After being lured in by 6 minutes of pretty cool climbing footage and an interview of a real cool guy, they lay the propaganda on overly thick.

Lilallan. I try to avoid personal attacks on this site but your post is poorly thought and downright illiterate. You should stick to climbing since your future in anything involving communication or intelligence is quite bleak.

what advertisement? Oh yeah... I should turn the volume on, on my computer. Oh well, the video is probably better without volume. The climbing images are cool, and its nice seeing an old fart still climbing hard

I don't know how I feel about this video. It was cool, but I always feel like I'm having religion pushed on me when I watch things like that. I was raised Christian, and still live life the same way. I don't really believe in God anymore however. I don't think his the aim of the video was to try and convert people, but more or less get the word out about this site they're pimping. That I really don't have a big problem with, but if they were trying to send the message out that we all need to be Christian and go to church, then I'd definitely have a problem. I think this video is walking a very fine line...

I'm a Christian, I enjoyed the climbing but way too much talking. That's just a way to do what you did, turn people off to Christ! Climb On!!
