thanks for the comments man... i like the feedback.
-
and video never does the justice for how something actually is in person.
-
grades tend to be based on opinion. in this problem there is only two hard moves then it's a breeze. i would rate it at a 4, but saw that it was a 5 on chetroy.com
-
yeah it is a bummer with all the graffiti...
-
the music is by Toe and the song name is "Kodoku No Hatsumei."
-
great vid man! awesome music selection! sweet boulder... i'm gonna have to get out to whiskey springs...
-
why is the camera sideways?
-
sick dyno! i could have done without seeing so many attempts though...
-
cool location!
-
man that's pretty ballsy.

5 out of 5 stars mount gretna is in lancaster, pa (southeast PA). this is at an area called governer dick. the first time i was ever here i got lost in the woods for 4 hours! best time to go is in fall/spring, watch yourself for deer ticks... i had 4 on me after i left one time! i shot this vid a day before we got 4 inches of snow! thanks for the feedback!
-
that place looks fun! nice vid
-

i was out to whisky springs today and came across this rock. you should have showed the death pit right under the start in the video. crazy problem... props!
-
indeed sport climbing and top roping are VERY different. i tagged it as sport because this area has some fantastic sport climbing. we only had 1 camera. we anchored it over the ledge at the top and just hit record. we then moved the camera to the bottom and did it again. thanks for the feedback!
-
thats awesome!
-
i'm glad that you enjoyed it! i was really bummed because i brought my homemade camera jib with me and i broke it! i'm going to make a newer better one now though so i can't complain.
-
yeah i got that route pretty dialed now!
-
where is it located?
-
nice... steve was that you in the background talking?
-
what an awesome looking boulder
-
ohh yeahhh! gretna has some sweet slabs! i'm excited to get back there. its been awhile...
-
hey thanks man! the moves at the bottom are tough, but it is def a nice line.
-
if you want, you can let me know what day you're goin up there. i'd be glad to meet up and show you around.
-
i just uploaded another vid of the cave. it's the route to the left of this one. they haven't posted it on here yet but it is on youtube if you want to check it out. its called "cave boulder"
-
def worth a trip out... some great warmup problems, and a couple testers all within a 100 yard cluster. supposedly more to explore on the outskirts but i haven't explored yet.
-
which one is nemesis? one route on the boulder up and to the left of this is pretty sweet. start on matched crimp rail with high right foot. bump right, left, right, match on a jug. then a couple long reachy moves at the top. that one is the next vid...
-
nice man! i would like to check this place out sometime.
-
ohhh yeahh! man if it snows... we're gonna have to head out there and do some boulder sweeping so we can keep climbing!
-
good stuff man! those lines look like fun!
-
thats pretty awesome man! gotta climb what you got.
-
Sweet boulder!

of the nearly 1000 people who have watched my vid how many people do you think actually went to check it out? this has always been a crowded place. it's even crowded now and apparently it's illegal?
