You don't have to quit college to be a dirtbag, you just to make a few sacrifices and find the time. I went to college - a good one - and now i work in a law firm. Life is about choices. You have your whole life to be on the straight and arrow. I took two years between college and 'the real world'. Think about it. It was well worth it.
There are two cruxes, neither of which are hard, technical v6 climbing. The lower crux is probably the technical crux. A little tweaky, but not too bad. The upper crux is committing because its a long move to a smallish crimp with subtle footwork. And then you have to cross through to a decent, slightly slopy, pinch. Crossing through feels very exposed, but in truth its not THAT hard.
All in all I'd probably still give it a six. I worked it for two days. But then again, Jeff got 3rd go so....
Let me know if you try it. Be interested to hear what you think.
You people don't know what you are talking about. That pillar was one of several in the area. We were putting gear behind those pillars. One day we show up a pillar had fallen all by its lonesome (you can see some of the debris in the background). After that, we reevaluated the rest of the pillars. This one had to go.
in re to baigot:
Look tough guy - cause you never been to the area - you don't know what you're talking about. The pillars are 50 feet above a sea chasm, when the pillar was jacked off, there wasn't anyone between that small strip of land and the sea chasm, so don't start projecting all that "what if" bullshit.
Its ironic you bring up the safety issue cause, as I said, jacking off the pillar was a safety issue. If one of us ripped off that pillar while climbing, it would have been gameover.
Its easy to fling mud when you're in freakin Argentina

Great music and cool looking problem but I could have done with some different angles. Where is that calvario? Mexico?
