Kind of lame...I have never seen a "hang and drop" problem in NC, "if you dont top it out, it aint a route". NC climbers have a better reputation...run out routes & hard top outs are usual around here...but using trees and not finishing are nothing to brag about. Didnt really seem like that tough of a problem, at least enough to show the vid on RC.com, especially without the top out...at least the video, in my opinion, wasnt worth distributing or even watching...some sends are better remembered in memories than pics or vids. There are plenty of vids of people pulling down on killer routes, for example, check out some of the Rumbling Bald vids...watch these to see how to shoot a quality video. Just because you can climb in a gym and can work a camera doesnt give you the right to pollute RC.com with this crap! Dont give the rest of the climbers in NC a bad rep by showing such weak climbing!

People have bouldered in these places longer than you might think, at least decades before the 1st commercial crash pad was even thought about...I have heard people for over 10-15 years talk about the bouldering at Moores. Hell, the master himself, John Gill and Sherman have even visited Moores in these early decades. Just saying that the new breed of climber thinks because they have to clean a boulder that they have FAed it...most boulders in most climbing areas here in NC have been climbed since the 70's/80's. Mt Yonah, in GA, is having that problem now...over 1000 boulder problems sent since the 70's yet newbies keep claiming FA's that have already been documented. If you ask around or buddy up with some of the older climbers, they might come off of some of the beta for some stellar routes that most never knew about. In the past it wasnt so much about glory and notoriety, but having fun and moving on to something different. Keep an open mind guys!

PS...the boulders at Moores were climbed out in the 70's. No more FA's around there unless it is in the V-astronomical range. Ask some of the older local climbers for some of the history of the Moores Boulders and you might find many more problems you didnt know about. Enjoy!

Look guys, just stating the facts...dont get so upset, only makes you look worse. Climb for enjoyment, not fame. I am sorry to say I have never had a video or still taken of me climbing...not one of my priorities, but I do like to watch the videos on Dr Topo, Urban Climber and all of the SE bouldering websites. Just letting you know that if you dont want everyone to watch and critique, dont put it up. Be more professional with your post instead of acting like a bunch of high schoolers! Funny how you defend it until you realize its lameness and then call it a joke...if it was a joke, dont post it for everyone to see! Good luck climbing!

5 out of 5 stars I love bouldering at the Bald! You make those hard lines look so easy!
