Laser Sonic 2 out of 5 stars

I normaly carry Turbo Exp. screws but got two of these for real cheap. Thought I would hate the flimsy hanger and I did. After using them for two years, they are now of my rack and given to a climbing partner. The rotating part is fine for cleaning but even then, when it's cold and you got big gloves on, they are hard to grab. Same goes for setting and clipping them at the crux. What a cluster fuck, never again. I guess it's all about what you learn on. By the way they are the same screw as BD up to the hanger.

I like the Laser sonics a whole lot, except they have the heftiest price tag in Canada out of any screw. My favorite part is that one can leave them attached to the rope while cleaning. Great idea, and a superb screw.

fired in quick and easy, hanger design clears bulges better than bd/op hanger. hanger/grinder was easy to grip with tight schoeler gloves, but would be hard with less dexterous gloves.

Great screw. Racking is fine. Clipping is a bit harder than some, but not that bad. I touched one up with a file and now it bites better than any other screw on my rack.
