Snowtube

Used as an anchor or belay device in snow. Best when used as a deadman. Provides the same strength as the shaft of a T-rated ice axe. (350 daN).

Can also be used as a stake, has a hole in the top for sling installation to which a carabiner can be clipped.

The reinforced top protects the structure from hammer blows and the bevelled point helps it cut more easily
