I love my Dyno, it's great for everything from Day hikes, days at the crag, light over nights, as summit pack, and I've even used it for backcountry skiing (although it is a pain to attach ski's to). It is reasonably light (3lb range) and has 2 ports for hydration bladders, so you can have alot of water right at your mouth, or have 1 bladder of water, and the other of Gatorade, or whatever. The ice axe attachments are convienient, and It has plenty of ways to strap things onto the outside and still remains a pretty streamlined pack. I've had mine for 2 years and for 10 months used it 6 days a week (for work at an outdoor ed center) It's held up fine, but it has a bit of fraying on the mesh pockets which don't affect function (yet)
