Description

most of the climbing scenes are good .However they are watered down with skateboarding, dumb kids and windshield shots going down the interstate.Appears to have been produced by a 14 year old with his moms camcorder.

I like this movie a lot. To compare, I've seen Front Range Freaks, Return 2 Sender, Dosage 3 and a few other videos and this is still my favorite. I like the raw production of the film as it makes it appear more authentic, like something some friends would put together. I'm not a big fan of overly produced movies (see return 2 sender). The music on inertia 1 kicks ass, lots of punk (Pennywise, old No Use for a Name, Boy Hits Car, and other miscellaneous punk bands). Music on inertia 2 is all pumping techno, which I don't like much. I like the lack of commentary, just straight up climbing. Very entertaining. I don't boulder much but this makes it seem much more attractive. I have no idea why the video is rated so low.

OK...Their were some classic moments caught on these tapes...Like Iker Pou's ascent of Action Direct and this bald guy in boxer briefs climbing an insane looking v13....(Both scenes in #2) but overall, very poor film w/ bad camera work, and music that isn't timed well.

Inertia 1 and 2....some nice climbing going on however, the editing is somewhat choppy.....you don't get a good feel for the struggle of the climb (mainly in 1). Random crap going on......if I wanted to see people drink a gallon of milk or run styrofoam into a highway sign I'd watch the skateboarders down the street. 2 is a lot better than 1 because it shows a lot better climbs and shows actual full climbs more than a few boulder problems (Randy Leavitt's climb is nice). Don't buy it.....borrow it from a friend if you really want to see and buy a nice meal instead...definitely worth your money more than Inertia 1 and 2.
