Offsets are manufactured from High Strength Alloy and are individually heat treated to resist shearout. (See the different sizes in the last sales argument) The forging technique used to make Offsets enables us to make shapes which are ideal for locking into placements. Carry a set of each design and you will find more sound placements than possible with curved nuts or offsets only. The offset alloy can be ordered in the following sizes and dimension width. 0-6 No.7 is 12,2 mm No.8 is 14,2 mm No.9 is 16,8 mm No.10 is 19,8 mm No.11 is 23,4 mm

Ohhh HB, I pine for you. If you can get these now, do. As a second set they are awesome. I will carry these before my wallnuts on mixed routes. They place so well.

Slotting one of these guys into an irregular constriction or pin scar is sooo satisfying. Great supplement to a regular set of stoppers, with the offsets taking the more complex placements and the stoppers for the easy ones. I cant stress how much i love these!

I bought these years ago to protect one particular climb with flaring pin scars. Little did I know they would end up my favorite piece of gear. I tend to place these more often than my standard nuts.

Carried these as a second set of nuts (in addition to BD set) for a while and they were great! Made for a solid placement where my regular nuts would have made a placement that was less than ideal.

The picture listed above is actually showing the brass version of these nuts, but there is a aluminium version (which they're talking about here).
Any and every trad climber should have a set of these. Heck, I would recommend them for someone that's looking for additional top-rope gear as well. They're amazing. Color coded for quick placements, nice stiff wire for easy placements, and their great shape which you can use just about everywhere. I couldn't tell you the last time I didn't place at least one of these pieces on a climb. Enough so that I actually own two sets of these stoppers.
