Description

This all-purpose panel loader is ideal for both trad and sport cragging. Its modified clamshell design offers speedy access to all of your equipment so it’s not strewn about the base of the cliff. The molded-foam back panel breathes and the polyurethane framesheet protects your back from cams or draws. Side and top straps securely fasten a rope to its exterior. Attention to details like a haul loop, hydration port, SternumTrac shoulder straps and a waterproof zipper are what add true value to this climbing pack.

Incredibly versatile pack. Perfect for big trad days - hauls rope (using external rope straps), rack and essentials with ease on approach, then wears well while climbing or convert to haul bag with 3 attachment points.

This pack is great! I've used it for everything from dayhikes in the Dacks to schlepping my gear to the gym, super comfortable, even when packed to capacity, plus it has a hydration sleeve. One of my favorite packs.

Have to give it a 5 because it was on closeout at REI so the price was good. Pros -
1. Good quality construction and durable so far.
2. Rope straps are nice and actually work pretty well to hold the rope in place.
3. The waist strap is removable - works good when you want a casual pack to carry to the gym.
4. Waist strap is beefy enough to make a real difference when you're fully loaded down.

I used this pack out in Red Rocks this spring for some easy trad. I packed gear inside and hung the rope on top. When I got to the wall (Solar Slab). I threw the 2nd rope inside the bag with some water and Gatorade and wore it while climbing. It's maybe a tad big to climb with because it makes it harder to reach gear at the very back of your harness.

Overall a very useful pack.

I love this pack! I use it for school, climbing and mountain biking. It works great for crag climbing. It can hold more than you think and has outer rope straps. I can't think of any drawbacks from this pack.

i got the pack just a few months ago and it is awesome. it seems small but right now i keep a 60m 10.5mm rop in it along with a harness my shoes about 100' of webbing a grigri some carabiners my reverso and a few other things. the waist strap almost makes the pack seem to float on you when wearing it, making it very comfortable to walk around with.
