Excellent headlamp. I have a standard Tikka Plus I keep in my climbing gear to prevent the last climb of the day from becoming an epic. Invariably somebody I climb with forgets their own... Great around the camp site afterwards. I loved it so much, I purchased the Tactikka Plus for military use.

omfortable, light and very good battery life. Perfect for everything around the campsite and the tent. Okay for slow pace trail walking. A little too dim for proper night hiking.

I love this headlamp. It is by far, one of the best LED headlamps i have seen. I really like its compact size and output. I have had one issue, though. I have had to return several of them because after a relatively short period of time they become sensitive to the cold. If they become too cold they will totally cease to work. If you hold down the switch the light will flicker on and off quickly, but it will not stay on. The light has to be warmed up and kept warm for it to continue to work. Has anybody else run into this problem???
