I had the same issue with the sole coming unglued. It's a good, stiff shoe for edging, but almost worthless for smearing. I'd give it a worse rating, but I like the lacing.

This is one of only like 3 rock shoes i've owned, so my two cents are fairly worthless...
These shoes are increadibly durrable. Their pretty rigid, good edging, could be better for smearing. The laces are too long :)

Excellent all around shoe. Moderately aggressive toe. Combines ease velco and adjustability of lace ups, with the speed lacing. Disappointed that they have discontinued this model, but overall quality is excellent and the rubber is very comparable to 5.10. But construction is much, much better than 5.10 who through my experience have always had problems with the sole coming unglued..
