Description
Our lightest locking biner, the Quicksilver2 is stronger than its predecessors. This versatile utility biner is great for times when you want a little added security such as on the first bolt of a climb. Light and unobtrusive, it’s an excellent choice for clipping an equalized rat’s nest of pro or setting up top-rope anchors.

Strength: Closed Gate: 25 kN (5620 lbf)
Open Gate: 9 kN (2023 lbf)
Minor Axis: 7 kN (1574 lbf)
Lightest locker in our line - Versatile biner good for rigging or added security - Workhorse biner due to its strength and durability

Cheap and relatively light

I have four of these for my anchor setup and I like them. I am thinking about picking up a few more.
Decent biner

Not a bad overall biner, fairly light weight but as previously mentioned the screw can get gummed up sometimes. I use my mainly in the gym to anchor my girlfriend in when she belays me. Too small for belaying but they weren't really made for that anyways.
Okay

It works great except for the fact that I picked up some Mammut Classic Screwgates at my local gear shop which are about the same weight, have a smoother screw action, and are a kn stronger in every direction for the same price as my Quicksilver 2 locker. Suprisingly these Mammuts aren't listed on this site...they are great biners!
Excellent Biner

This is not a biner that is meant as "keylocking" biner, I save this special biner for my belay stations as hauling extra weight on Trad just blows. Perfect function, light weight, good price, easy to keep clean. Excellent for Trad.
Good biner but lacks keylock

Awesome lightweight locker, but Positrons are even better. The lack of the keylock design is the fatal flaw of the Quicksilver. Positrons get a 5 from me.
