I got the large bag, and i don't have fill my bag very often. it is nice to just walk to the rocks and know you have enough chalk for you and a handful of friends. Also the larger bag makes it easier to get chalk on your hands.

Nice little bag, has a zippered pocket of a fairly good size, can stick a compact camera or a small headlamp in there easily. The size of the bag is also good for my hands, and the drawstring cinches up nice and tight, never spill any chalk. Only downside is the lame string 'belt' it includes. I just use a spare ovalwire to hook it on my belt loop or harness haul loop.

Nice Patterns, holds chalk, opens and closes easily, has a brush holder ,actually stands up, so it doesnt spill when set on the ground, the medium would be to small for people with larger hands, but great size for guys with medium to smaller size hands, and or women.

Would of given a 5 except that i would of liked the bag to close more than it does(when drawn tight there is still a finger sized hole opening left)

well.. although chalkbags are more or less the same, but at least this one can stand! True the opening seems a bit small, but maybe is due to the fur inside. I've got the large one and it really rocks! Better than the Petzl one I used before.
